UPLAND GAME BIRD HUNTING

Colorado Wingsport, a division of Pawnee Sportsmens Center, has been providing Northern Colorado hunters with quality upland hunts since 1985.  Wingsport offers hunting locations in the Fort Collins and Brighton vicinities with both guided and non-guided, half-day hunts, available.  Species released include pheasant, chukar partridge, and occasionally quail.  Our hunting season runs September through March.  Club is CLOSED Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Easter.

Upland Memberships are available, but not required.  Membership information for the 2008-2009 season will be available early July.  Call (970) 482-7574 or e-mail pawnee411@aol.com to request an Upland Membership Packet.

Non-Member, Half-day Hunts include a release of 5 pheasants or 6 chukar.  Current Price (Fall 2008) $125.00 per hunter.  There is a 2 hunter minimum on weekend hunts (Fri/Sat/Sun). Non-members are limited to two visits per season.  Guided hunts (with hunting dogs) are an additional $75/hunt.

SPRING TEAM HUNT & SPORTING SHOOT

SATURDAY, MARCH 29th, 2008

We had a great turn out for this year's Wingsport Team Challenge.  6 teams competed in three different events:  (1) Upland hunt - 20 pheasants released per team with two hours to harvest them.  (2) Pigeon shoot and retrieve - shoot & retrieve 10 pigeons.  (3) Three hunter's clays events - three unconventional clay target games, including our infamous Quail Flush.
